Truck dispatch questions, answered straight.

What we do, what we do not do, how pricing works and how to get started. If your question is not here, ask it on a free review call.

What a dispatcher does for you

What does a truck dispatcher actually do?

We search and qualify loads, negotiate the rate, vet the broker, complete broker setup packets, manage the rate confirmation, and stay on the load with you through delivery. While you are rolling, we are already looking at the next market so you are not stuck empty after you drop.

Who do you work with?

Owner-operators and trucking companies running under their own active authority anywhere in the 48 continental states, from a single truck to a growing fleet.

What equipment do you dispatch?

Dry van, reefer, flatbed, box truck, power only, hotshot, step deck, Conestoga, lowboy, RGN, dump truck, and semi-truck operations. Each equipment type has its own page explaining what we check before booking.

How do you find loads?

Through broker relationships, professional load boards, lane research, and daily market checks. We filter out freight that does not fit your equipment, lanes, or minimums before it reaches you.

Do you negotiate rates?

Yes. Negotiation is a core part of the service. We push for the strongest rate the load will bear, and we weigh it against deadhead, timing, and the reload market at the destination.

Can you help cut deadhead?

We plan past the current load. Before you commit, we look at the destination market and likely reloads so you are less likely to run empty miles to find the next one.

Control, brokers and paperwork

Do I keep control of my truck?

Yes. You approve every load. We present the rate, miles, broker, commodity, appointments, and terms, and nothing is booked until you say yes. We never force dispatch.

Can I use my preferred brokers?

Yes. Send us your preferred brokers and your do-not-use list. Your dispatcher builds both into every search.

Do you help with broker packets?

Yes. We complete broker setup packets for you and keep the documents needed for booking organized in one place.

Do you handle invoicing or factoring?

We organize and forward load documents and work with your factoring company's process. Factoring itself is provided by the financial partner you choose.

What happens if something goes wrong on a load?

Your dispatcher handles broker communication on active loads, including delays, check calls, and detention. Our support is set up for carriers on the road, including help with active-load problems outside booking hours.

Pricing and terms

How much does dispatch cost?

Pricing depends on your equipment, how many trucks you run, and the level of support you need. We explain the exact fee and terms on your free review call, before you sign anything.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes. If we don't book a load you approve in your first week, you pay nothing. Your first week starts once your carrier setup is complete and your truck is available to load, and the guarantee is written into your dispatch agreement.

Is there a long-term contract?

Plan terms and cancellation terms are explained in plain language before onboarding. Ask about them on your review call.

Can you guarantee a rate per mile?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Rates move with the lane, season, equipment, and capacity. We focus on the best total result for your week, not a number we cannot control.

Getting started

How quickly can I start?

Once your carrier packet and documents are complete, we build your operating profile and start searching from your next available location and preferred lanes.

What documents do you need?

Usually your MC and USDOT details, W-9, certificate of insurance, notice of assignment if you factor, equipment details, and a signed dispatch agreement.

Do you work with new authorities?

Yes, subject to broker acceptance. Some brokers require an authority to be active for a set time, so we build the plan around the brokers and freight available to your MC today.

How will we communicate?

By phone, text, and email. Your dispatcher sets up a daily rhythm that works around your driving schedule.

How do I start?

Request a free dispatch review. It takes about two minutes. A dispatcher calls you, learns how you want to run, and recommends a plan. You decide whether to start.

Still have a question?

Ask it on a free review call. A dispatcher will answer it for your truck and your lanes, not in general.
